Ode to a Large Tuna in the Market is a poem to describe the life and the death of the Tuna. The Juxtaposition between life and death is used to emphasise the difference between his exciting life and the boring ending. It says swam and then dead and tidal wave, dead. It uses these very close together to make you feel depressed when everything ends with death(as well as ending life it usually ends the stanza as well). This poem uses the word dead as an ending point, it gives information on the Tuna's life and then just ends it off.
