These peanuts are making me thirsty.

I was in a bar, there were lots of people, it was dark and gloomy and old fashioned. There was jazz music in the background. I knew no one, I asked the bartender for some water, he asked if I wanted some peanuts with the water, I replied no thanks, peanuts make me thirsty.

There was light chattering and jazz/ blues music in the background
It was gloomy and dark with only small lights

Tone- how you say something.

Mood- how you set the scene.

The sun was out and was warm on my face, he complete opposite if my feet which were freezing. I could hear the sound of singing birds in the trees. I turned to my friend and said this is what skiing is all about.

The poem I have found is called "This is just to say" and is by William Carlos Williams. In this poem there is lots of imagery. There is some taste imagery, it says "they were delicious, so sweet and so cold." There is sight imagery for example the plums were in the icebox, this is positioning. Also there was a symbol, it says "which you were probably saving for breakfast" I think this symbolises not thinking about the consequences of your actions. Overall I think the message of this poem is to think before you act.
